Greetings, New Clients and Patients!

We’re excited to welcome you to our clinic. If you’re unsure about what to expect at your first visit, see below for more information and let us know if you have questions by calling (407) 862-6892 .

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your pet’s first visit is an important time for us to get to know them and you, and answer all your pet-related questions. We’ll want to know about any health concerns they have, behavioral problems, and other issues, but we’ll also want to discuss their current routine at home and offer recommendations to make their life (and yours) easier.

Additionally, your pet’s appointment will include:

  • Checking all their weight and vitals (heart, lungs, and temperature)
  • A nose-to-tail physical examination
  • Possible blood work
  • Vaccinations, if needed
  • Dispensing parasite preventatives if needed
  • Discussing your pet’s nutritional needs, exercise regimen, house breaking/litter box training, and more

Drop-Off Appointments

We understand that many pet parents have busy schedules, and booking an appointment can be difficult. That’s why we welcome drop-offs, where you can drop off your pet first thing in the morning and have our doctor treat or examine them while you’re working or out running errands.

When you call us at (407) 862-6892, be sure to let us know if you’d prefer a drop-off appointment for your pet. Our drop-off times are 8am - 9am and 12pm - 1pm, and our pickup time is 4pm.

Welcome To the Westmonte Family!

At Westmonte Animal Clinic, your pet’s health and wellbeing will always be our first priority. There’s a good chance that your dog doesn’t exactly look forward to their vet visit, but we take that as a challenge!

No matter what service they’re receiving, we’ll do our best to ensure that your pet is as comfortable as possible.

Pet Wellness

Annual wellness exams are a key part of keeping your pet healthy and happy for years to come. But routine physical screenings are only one piece of the puzzle.

In addition to any health concerns, Dr. Matagrano will also address any nutrition and behavioral issues that may be keeping your pet from living his/her best life.

Dental Care

Proper dental care isn’t just about aesthetics. Gum disease, tooth decay, and inflammation can negatively impact your pet’s quality of life.

With regular teeth cleanings, you’ll be avoiding serious health complications and ensuring that your furry friend can get adequate nutrition.
